Onlidex ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. Onlidex is a free browsing tool and does not require an account, email address, or any personal information to use.

Onlidex does not collect any personally identifiable information. We do not ask for your name, email address, or require you to create an account. The data we collect is limited to:

• Cookie-based visitor ID: A randomly generated unique identifier (UUID) stored in your browser cookie. This ID is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally.
• Browsing history: Models you have viewed, search queries you have entered, and categories you have clicked on.
• Preference quiz answers: If you complete the optional preference quiz, your answers are stored to help personalize your experience.
• Favorites and collections: Any models you mark as favorites or organize into collections.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, physical address, payment information, or any other personal data.

2. How We Use Your Data

The anonymous data we collect is used solely to improve your experience on Onlidex:

• Personalized recommendations: Suggesting models and content based on your browsing patterns and stated preferences.
• Trending content: Identifying popular models and categories based on aggregated visitor activity.
• Preference-based feeds: Customizing the content you see based on your quiz answers and browsing behavior.

We never share, sell, rent, or trade your data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

• Browsing events (page views, searches, category clicks) are automatically deleted after 90 days.
• Visitor profiles and collections (favorites, quiz preferences, saved collections) persist for as long as your visitor cookie remains active. Clearing your browser cookies will remove the link to your stored data.

5. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights regarding your data:

• Right to access: You can request a copy of the data we hold that is associated with your visitor ID.
• Right to rectification: You can request correction of any inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure: You can request that we delete all data associated with your visitor ID.
• Right to data portability: You can request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Right to object: You can object to the processing of your data at any time.

6. Your Rights Under CCPA

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you the following rights:

• Right to know: You can request details about the categories and specific pieces of data we have collected.

• Right to opt-out of sale: We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Since we do not sell data, there is no need to opt out, but we honor the principle.

We honor "Do Not Track" browser signals. When detected, data collection is limited to essential functionality only.

7. How to Opt Out

You can opt out of data collection at any time using any of these methods:

• Consent banner: Click "Browse Anonymously" on the consent banner that appears when you first visit Onlidex. This immediately stops all non-essential data collection.
• Clear cookies: Clear your browser cookies for onlidex.com. This removes your visitor ID and all associated data links.

When you opt out, data collection stops immediately. You can continue to browse Onlidex freely, but personalized features (recommendations, favorites, collections) will not be available.
