I had a good streak going.

Real good.

Went 18 days without touching the goon cave. I was drinking water. I was sleeping. I remembered what my knees felt like. I looked at the sun and didn’t recoil.

But last night?

Last night I felt it.

That itch behind the eyes. The whisper from the RGB lights I never fully unplugged. My mouse hovered over the folder labeled “Tax Documents.” It wasn’t tax documents. It was my shame, archived in HD.
