GiGi, born Perle van Schalkwyk in Paarl, Western Cape, South Africa.

After studying drama at Stellenbosch University, I soon realised that acting in South Africa was not going to buy me that house on the hill.

In 1990, GiGi was born.

Dancing as a showgirl for 15 years in venues around Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa, I made a name for myself.

Now I own multiple business around Johannesburg and in the Western Cape in South Africa.

In 2010 I won Survivor South Africa: Santa Carolina.

I will inspire you to survive and thrive and to follow your dreams!

In 2020 I wrote a bare all memoir called Nipple Caps & G-strings. This book has been called the hottest story of the decade.

As my dad always said, “Do the thing you fear, and the end of fear is certain!”
