⊳We all start out knowing magic. We are born with whirlwinds, forest fires, and comets inside us. We are born able to sing to birds, read the clouds and see our destiny in grains of sand. But then we got the magic educated right out of our souls. We get it churned out, spanked out, washed out, and combed out. We get put on the straight and narrow path and told to be responsible. Told to act our age. Told to grow up. And you know why we're told to do this? Because the people doing the telling were afraid of our wildness and youth. Because the magic we knew made them ashamed and sad of what they'd allowed to whither into themselves.
⊳One of my biggest goals in life is to not judge anyone. Am I guilty sometimes? Yes, we all are. But everyone is so unique and beautiful in their own way, that no one should ever look down on another for who that person is. I strive to be the most authentic version of myself, and I can sense Im becoming a better me every day. ☯
