My name is Amelia, and I’m not exactly the kind of girl in hijab most people expect to see 🕌

There is still ink on my skin, traces of metal, and a whole story that can’t be erased by one new decision. Some would call it a contradiction. I call it my path, alhamdulillah

Islam was not a habit I grew up with — it was a choice I came to on my own 📿
No pressure, no pretty legend, no desire to look better than I am.


My soul simply wanted to return to the place where it felt at peace before Allah 🕯

I don’t hide my past, and I don’t ask strangers for permission to change. My faith is my amanah. My modesty is my own wish. My softness is my strength

I’m not here to be convenient. I’m here to show that a woman can be different, complex, gentle, stubborn, faithful, tattooed — and still walk her own path, in sha Allah
